League One betting - 10 Oct 2015

Chesterfield - Gillingham, Over 2.75 at 2.05 (Sbobet)
Chesterfield have an average of 2 goals scored in their last 20 home games, while Gillingham are the top league scorers.

Oldham Athletic - Scunthorpe Utd, Over 2.5 at 2.14 (Sbobet)
Scunthorpe have conceded at least 2 goals in their last 14 away matches in league. I expect both teams to go for a win, producing one entertaining game.

Stoke - Liverpool, 9 Aug 2015

Stoke - Liverpool, Over 2.5 at 2.17 (Sbobet)
I think those odds are very acceptable.

Saturday betting - 8 Aug 2015

Norwich City - Crystal Palace, C.Palace 0.0 at 2.13 (Marathonbet)
This one is based on my season expectations where I predicted pretty good season for Palace and the bottom spot for Norwich. Think Pardew has been doing some wise business since he took over, they were playing really well in the second half of previous season and I like their acting in the recent transfer window. It’s the opening game in front of their own fans, so I cannot really exclude the draw here.

Bolton Wand. - Derby County, over 2.5 at 2.06 (Sbobet)
At the moment, Bolton look doomed for the coming season with no finance to back a decent squad. For this game, apparently they have some serious issues to collect back four players. On the other hand, Derby are one of two favourites for direct promotion, in my opinion. Their squad list looks quite powerful, but they’ll need some time to learn to play together. I expect Bolton to score (Madine?) and taking goals instead skinny offer for away win.

Rotheram United - MK Dons, over 2.5 at 2.16 (Sbobet)
I always liked the football philosophy of Karl Robinson and expect him to carry on with attacking style from previous season. Although only couple of places separated them, I think Dons will find the life in the second tier more difficult. Goals for me.

Championship betting 21 Mar 2015

Blackpool - Leeds, Leeds -0.5 at 2.06 (Sbobet)
Blackpool are already relegated and they know it. Six straight defeats, with only one goal scored in those. On the other hand, Leeds been playing surprisingly well - eight wins out of last 12, including top sides. I expected something around 1.80-1.85 and find these odds very accepting.

FA Cup & Championship betting - 24 Jan 2015

Blackburn - Swansea, Swansea -0.25 at 2.07 (Sbobet)
Blackburn have won only two competitive games, out of last nine (both vs. Charlton). Top scorer Gestede seems to be out, being linked with a move Crystal Palace and with being already left out in previous game against Wigan. Jordan Rhodes has scored one goal in last nine appearing and funny fact is he is linked with a move to Swansea. Visitors would like to bounce back after pretty embarrassing display against Chelsea. Monk made nine changes in previous round at Tranmere, but I expect more appropriate line-up here. They’ve won five of their last six FA Cup ties against lower league opposition. Skipper Williams is out.

Norwich - Brentford, Over 2.75 at 1.92 (Sbobet)
Norwich have been free scoring/conceding side, their last five home games have produced 26 goals! They have kept only two clean sheets at home, first round against Watford and Huddersfield. Brentford’s last game ended with 1-0 score line with reportedly few sitters missed, before that, six away games with 24 goals. They have only one draw out of 13 away games. Both sides should fancy their chances here, I think we’ll see couple of goals.

Cardiff - Reading, Cardiff -0.25 at 2.10 (BetVictor)
Not like I felt delighted to see these two sides going against each other, but after a closer look I think that prices on Cardiff is very generous. They’ve been playing really well at home, with eight wins out of 13 in league, they won last two competitive games at home and last three against Reading (both, home and away). They have lost just one of the last 12 games against the same opponent in all competitions (W5-D6-L1) and have lost just three of their last 28 FA Cup matches at home (won 18 of those). Reading away in league only two wins out of 13, to reach this stage they won at Huddersfield. In case of a draw, half stake is back.

Championship betting - 20 Jan 2015

Leeds - Bournemouth, Bournemouth -0.75 at 2.04 (Pinnacle)
Leeds are winless in last eight matches (five defeats). With all that mess with Cellino, they could be even candidates to relegate. On the other hand, The Cherries are running the riot in the league with six wins out of last seven. On the road, they haven’t won just once in last ten games (Middlesbrough) and since the start of September, they have won on every trip to a non top-six side.

Championship and League One betting - 17 Jan 2015

Middlesbrough - Huddersfield, ‘Boro -1.0 at 2.10 (MarathonBet)
‘Boro been showing the class recently, only one defeat of last 12 matches in the league. Two home wins in a row (Derby and Nott Forest), while in previous round they made a good display at Reading. Goalless draw eventually, with Federici being a man of the match. Hudders have lost four out of last five away, conceding 14 goals in those.

Yeovil Town - Bradford City, Bradford 0.0 at 1.88 (MarathonBet)
Yeovil are stuck to the bottom, they have five straight defeats home and away (four in league, one in Cup) and scored only one goal in those. At home, another five straight defeats - with no goals scored. On the other hand, Bradford look more than decent. Kicked Millwall out of Cup in mid-week and have noticed only one defeat out of last 12 competitive games. Three straight wins on the road, all three against top-half sides.

Port Vale - Peterborough, Port Vale 0.0 1.96 (Sbobet)
Port Vale have six home wins out of last eight matches ( with one draw and one defeat). On the other hand, The Posh, one win out of last 11 in league and haven’t scored in three out of last four matches. They have new goalie for this match, while miss two regular first teamers (centre-back and midfielder).

League One Betting - 10 Jan 2015

Walsall - Scunthorpe Utd, Scunthorpe +0.25 at 2.05 (Sbobet)
Think Scunny are being overpriced here. Walsall might be in a good mood after win at Preston in mid-week, but they lost last two league games at home and conceded as many goals (six), as they had in previous 10. Generally, their home record is just average (W4-D4-L4).
Visitors have been improving under Mark Robins, moving away from the relegation zone. They’re undefeated in last nine competitive games and in six away (both, league and Cup). Two loan players are ready for debut Hopper (Leicester) and Murphy (Norwich). I think their up-trend will continue.
