Warming up for English round, tomorrow. Bochum has three consecutive home defeats (Bayern Munchen, Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund), just three points above the dangerous zone. The encouraging thing is the first half of their previous game (2-3, Werder away). They played brilliant 45 minutes, scored twice, Sestak both times. But in the second half, defence line crushed under the pressure and conceded three times for only 15 minutes. Beside the points, they lost the best striker Klimowicz (at least three weeks) and mentioned Sestak who got an easier injury, is not in training process, but will be on the pitch tonight. Shinji Ono and Oliver Schroder have finished the season, while Christian Fuchs is expected to recover in next two weeks. Today's win would be very important, 'cause Bochum in the next two rounds will travel twice to face two teams from the top (Hertha BSC and Hamburger SV).

Hannover is one place above Bochum, but seven points more than relegation zone. They play very well at home ground, but their shape on the road is a real disaster. Two draws and 12 defeats from 14 games, scored 11 goals and conceded 40! In the previous round, they took the golden points, beating Koln at home 2-1. Seven points gap looks fine and it seems they finished the job about this season. Can play without pressure. Formation with one man in attack is expected. Boss Hecking can not count on: Schlaudraff, Cherundolo, Fahrenhorst, Hofmann, Yankov, Ismael, Jensen, Tarnat and Vinicius. In Bochum they lost last four league games.

Won't be easy for home side, but they have to win. Otherwise, can find themselves under the line at the end. I think the performance of their defence is crucial. If they cut their mistakes and stop Krzynowek (I see him as a biggest threat), Bochum will win. Goals look like a good bet, too, but the odds for over are not worth of that risk (about 1.65). I go for a home side. 888sport, Pinnacle and the most of others offer 2.05. Home win.
