Man City have targeted Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta and will bid £35m for the playmaker. (News of the World) 
City are also planning to splash the cash on Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch, while Liverpool will try to sign right-back Glen Johnson from the cash-strapped south-coast club. (Sunday Express) 
City will face competition for Crouch from Blackburn, who are keen on taking the England international to Ewood Park. (NOTW)
